Aim: To look at bow a leaf generates oxygen through photosynthesis

Eqipment

1. Syringe
2. 10 leaf circles
3. 1/2 t Baking Soda
4. 1 t dishwashing liquid
5. 500 ml water
6. hole punch
7. light
8. container for mixing solution
9. ivy leaf

Method:

1. Make leave disks using hole punch and ivy leaf.
2. Place all leaf disks in the syringe
3. Fill 1/2 syringe with solution
4. tip the syringe upside down and push out all the air.
5. Create a vacuum by removing all the air in the syringe.
6. Place the syring on the bench or ina beaker standing upright
7. Direct the  light source on the leaf.
